Marjoram

Marjoram was a symbol of happiness to the Greeks and Romans, and in Germany it is still called the Gänsekraut — the goose herb — for its traditional place in a roast. The oil carries food-flavouring permission in Europe: one drop in a soup, stew, dressing or sauce, once a day.
