Are doTERRA labels the same in the US and Europe?
No. The same oil can be sold in a different bottle size, with different food-use wording and different safety text depending on the market. This is the single most common source of bad advice online, because most of what is written is written for the American range. How to read the label you actually have.
Which essential oils are labelled for food use here?
Twenty-four of the seventy-eight, each with a stated daily limit on the label. Wild Orange and Bergamot — both used constantly in American recipes — are not among them. The full list, with the limits.
What does photosensitive mean?
That the oil reacts with ultraviolet light on skin. Nine oils in the range carry the warning; after applying one, keep that skin out of direct sun and off sunbeds for twelve hours. Diffusing is unaffected. Which nine, and why.
Do I need a Wellness Advocate account?
